Growing up in the home of ministers I have seen community care and outreach lived out every day. Community care taught me about missions, not just world missions, but those in my own backyard.

Over the last year and a half Faith Wesleyan has focused a large portion of their efforts to bring church to you through social media and online content. This in-reach has helped in keeping people connected to FWC as we have had to limit our face to face contact.

As we continue to adjust to our “new” norms we are excited to begin program(s) geared towards outreach. Members of the Faith Wesleyan met this Sunday, September 26, 2021, to begin planning our next outreach project. A Vacation Bible School like program that will run during the public schools winter break, December 20 through 24.

We are opening Faith Wesleyan’s doors to the community with Faith Wesleyan Music Camp. Over the course of a week attendees will have the opportunity to learn basic music theory while working on music to perform at the FWC Christmas Eve service.

We still have a number of task that we need assistance with and no you do not need to know music to help out! Contact Jessica at jessicad@rockfordfaith.com for more information on how you can help serve providing structured activity for youth who might not otherwise have something to do over their Christmas Break.

If you have someone you would like to attend visit https://rockfordfaith.com to preregister.

Serving Joyfully,

Your Faith Wesleyan Ministry Team
